Mad Dash is another new slot that hit Microgaming online casinos on November 9th 2010. This slot features 20 paylines, a wild symbol, and the Mad Dash Bonus feature.
The Mad Dash Bonus features a 4-wheeler race between a tortoise, hare, and fox. The bonus feature is triggered when three, four, or five scatter symbols land on the reels during a single spin. You are taken to a screen where you get to select the racer, the quad bike, and the course to race on. If you pick the winning racer you are awarded 25 free spins, 15 free spins for second place, and 10 free spins for third place.
Microgaming has been doing a good job on the recent new slots, I find that I enjoy most of them. This slot seems to hit the bonus round quite often, though I’ve only picked the first place racer a couple times for 25 free spins, the majority of the time you just get 10 or 15 free spins.
See the screenshots below for paytable information, and check back in the future to see if I’ve added any nice winning screenshots after playing it more.

Monkey King was one of the new slots to hit MicroGaming casinos on January 11th 2011. It features 30 paylines, stacked wilds, and a free spins bonus with multipliers and extra wilds.
For some reason I always saw “Money King” when reading about and playing this slot, I even wrote about it a couple times on this site naming it Money King. I couldn’t figure out why a slot named Money King would have an Asian theme with a Monkey as the wild symbol. I finally realized why I was so confused when my wife pointed out the fact that it is actually named Monkey King when she was playing the slot at 32Red Casino the other night.
Free spins are triggered when three or more Monkey King scatter symbols land on the reels during a spin. You are taken to a second screen where you select people on the street to reveal the number of free spins you get, the multiplier for those free spins, and the number of extra wilds. The extra wilds will be stacked on top of the already stacked wilds on the reels. You can win up to 25 free spins with a 4x multiplier and 3 extra wilds to double the number of wilds stacked on each reel.
I’ve had fairly decent luck on this slot, though I have hit better wins during regular spins than during the free spins feature. Seems odd since the chances of hitting more wilds obviously increases when there are more wilds on the reels, but I guess I just haven’t hit free spins at the right time yet. I have always found that if a slot with stacked wilds wants to pay big, it won’t wait for free spins to do so.
See the screenshots below for paytable information, and hopefully I can add some of my personal wins down there soon. Play Monkey King today at any of these Online Casinos.

Belle Rock is a 5-reel 9-payline slot that is exclusive to Belle Rock owned online casinos. It features symbols related to gambling, such as poker chips, cards, a wild that doubles your wins, and logos from the various Belle Rock online casinos.
The only online casinos that this slot can be found at are Jackpot City, Lucky Nugget, and Gaming Club. As far as I know, there aren’t any other casinos that have had the honour of Microgaming creating a unique slot for them. Judging by the graphics and sounds on this slot, it must have been created several years ago.
Free Spins are triggered when three or more Belle Rock scatter symbols land on the reels during a spin. You are awarded 15 free spins with all wins being tripled, and free spins can be retriggered.
I found it wasn’t too bad for a 9-payline slot, I don’t normally play them but this one is decent. I hit free spins quite a few times in the limited amount of time I spent playing this slot.

Monsters in the Closet is a new MicroGaming video slot, released to online casinos on October 11th 2010, just in time to get into the Halloween spirit. It features 50 paylines, a free spins feature, a wild symbol, and “The Monster Closet Bonus”.
Trigger free spins by hitting 3 or more Door Knocker scatter symbols during one spin. You are awarded 12 free spins with a x3 multiplier, the Monster Closet Bonus can be triggered during free spins, and 12 more free spins can be won with three more Door Knocker landing on the reels during one of the spins.
The Monster Closet Bonus feature is triggered when three or more Door Key scatter symbols land on the reels during a spin. You are taken to a screen with several doors to choose from, pick one to reveal your prize. There are two second-level bonus features that can be triggered by revealing certain symbols hiding behind the closet doors. The first is the Scary Slam Bonus, where you can collect monster winnings before time runs out. The second feature is the Destination Bonus, where you try to find the monster that matches the type of place it would live.
With all the bonus features available, you would think that you’d be able to win something once in a while. I found it was very tough to hit anything and all the times I played it, it just took my money as fast as it could. It does have nice graphics with funny-looking monsters, but that doesn’t mean much for your experience if you are losing. I don’t normally like games with two features that are triggered by two separate scatter symbols. It seems like you can hit two of each quite often, but it’s tough to hit three matching scatters.
Try Monsters in the Closet at any of these great MicroGaming casinos, maybe you will have better luck than I did.
Power Spins – Atomic 8s is a great new release from the leading software company, Microgaming. This game features 5 reels, 9 paylines, and the Power Spins feature which enables both left-to-right and right-to-left wins when activated.
The game allows players to choose from different coin sizes that range from $0.01 to $1 per payline. Players can bet as many as 10 coins on each line, making the maximum bet worth $90 a spin, or $120 if playing the Power spin feature.
This game has attracted the attention of those who enjoy traditional slots, but also like the new video slots from time to time. Players will enjoy the classic symbols of bars, bells, cherries and 8s. The graphics on the game are outstanding and the background sounds are enjoyable. To make the game exciting, players can add to their wager and place a Power Spins bet, which can increase the amount won while playing the game. The Power Spins feature will cost 3x the line bet and will allow players to win both left-to-right and right-to-left.
Play it now at Red Flush Casino!
Players can increase their winnings with the wild symbol, which is the Atomic 8s logo. This symbol can appear anywhere on the reels. While this is not a multiplier, it can help players create more winning combinations. If five of these symbols appear on a payline, players will enjoy an 8,000 (times the bet per line) coin payout. The radioactive symbols are the scatter icons and players will need to get two or more to receive a scatter payout. Five scatter symbols will award the player with 300x the amount of their bet.
While Power Spins – Atomic 8s does not have all the bells and whistles of modern video slots, it is an entertaining game. Many players who enjoy spending time on the traditional three reel games will enjoy the simplicity offered by this slot. Though there are no bonus rounds or multipliers, players who enable the Power Spins feature will receive more payouts.
This game has become a popular choice for many players looking for a new game with a classic style. It also attracts many high rollers because of the high betting limits in place. Power Spins – Atomic 8s can be found in many Microgaming online casinos and is a great choice for any player who is new to online gambling. With this game, players will get a feel for video slots without having to be confused with multiple symbols and bonus rounds. With a simple layout, easy to see symbols and paylines that are easy to understand, this game may be simple, but it can produce some amazing cash rewards.
The layout is simple with 5-reels and 9-paylines. The betting abilities of the game is a bit different from other games offered by the software; and you will find that for an extra 3x the line bet you will have the ability to activate the awesome power spins feature.
Activating the Power Spins Feature will add a x2 multiplier to all the wild symbols, which add together when on the same payline making it possible to get 8x your win.
The other symbols in the game are of course 7’s, Bells and Bars. The wild symbol is the most impressive symbol when it pays out and there are wins of 200,000 coins achievable with this symbol should five of them appear on an active payline. Scatters are profitable as well with wins between 180 and 27,000 coins possible. With a maximum bet of 60.00 credits a payout of $100,000 is possible. Although this bet is saved for the high rollers, any bet will prove to be profitable should the five wild combination be hit with the power spin feature activated.
Using the power spins can prove to be even more awesome as all multipliers are added when on the same payline. If two wilds are involved in a win, it will be multiplied x4, and so on up to x8. However, lining up 5 wilds will not multiply the win x10. This feature is potentially quite profitable for a small bet in comparison, so I would highly recommend using it when playing Sonic 7’s.
There are a few features available but the most impressive is the Power Spins by far. If you are looking for a new change in pace, try out this new game on your next visit to your favourite Microgaming powered casino.
Private Eye is a new 243-way slot from MicroGaming. It features free spins, a wild symbol, scatter symbols, and a second screen bonus feature. Private Eye was released along with four other great slots on January 11th 2011.
Free spins are triggered when three ‘Extra!’ scatter symbols land on the last three reels during a spin. You are taken to a screen where you pick three newspapers to reveal your free spins, multiplier, and extra win. The extra win is just a one-time win and doesn’t get added to each free spin like some slots. You can win up to 20 free spins with a 4x multiplier.
The second screen bonus feature, named Solve the Case, is triggered when three scattered bonus symbols land on the first three reels during a spin. You are taken to a screen with a desk full of clues. Keep choosing one clue at a time to reveal cash prizes until you find the fingerprint, or the phone rings to end the feature. If you find the fingerprint, you win all the prizes and move on to the Mugshot Bonus. Choose one of the five mugshots to reveal a cash prize.
I found that the Solve the Case bonus feature was hard to trigger, but it pays well when it finally does. Free spins seem to trigger fairly often which is nice. See the screenshots below for paytable information.

Reel Gems is a decent new slot that hit MicroGaming casinos this month (November 2010). This 5-reel slot features 243 ways to win, wild symbols on reels 2 and 4, free spins, and a brand new Respin Feature. This feature is new to MicroGaming slots and can be found on this game and Retro Reels, another new slot released this month.
Free spins are triggered when three or more scatters land on the reels during a single spin. You are awarded 15 free spins with all wins being tripled. The respin option is unavailable during free spins, even after the last spin. Free spins can be retriggered.
I have mixed feelings about the respin feature. I have found it to be both very handy, and very dangerous. It’s really only worth it when you can hit the symbol you are looking for in the first respin, but if you are going for 5 of a high paying symbol it can be very costly for that one respin. For instance, if you are betting $2.50 a spin and have the opportunity to respin one reel to line up 5 of the highest paying symbol, it will cost upwards of $75 for one respin. If you hit it on the first spin you win $400, but if not you’ve spent a huge amount for nothing and the odds are no better on the second respin should you choose to go for it.
One way it can be very good, is when you can line up more than one symbol 5 times, or get 5 of a kind of the same symbol more than once. The Q symbol is close to the wild symbol on the reels, so if you can get a wild and a Q on both reels 2 and 4, it can be worth it to respin the other reels to spin in Q symbols. After you line them all up for a decent win you can still respin a single reel, and with the Q being a lower paying symbol it shows up more often. Just be careful you don’t get too greedy and end up losing big, spinning all 5 reels costs a lot less and can still result in a 5 of a kind with a much better return.

Reel Play Poker: Jacks or Better is an online slot machine released by Microgaming. This is one of the newer releases by the software. The game is pretty simple in comparison to other games offered by the developer, and the idea is basically a multi-hand video poker game in the form of a slot machine. The layout is 5-reels, three symbols/cards high, with 20-paylines.
The symbols are all cards from a regular deck. This includes the face cards and all suits. The objective of the game is to make the best hand possible on the payline; and the payouts are paid according to the classic poker paytable.
The jackpot in the game is of course the Royal Flush which pays out 8,000 coins. In order to win the jackpot you must get an A, K, Q, J and 10 of the same suit on an enabled payline. It’s really a simple game and if you love poker, this game may become one of your new favourite games to play when gambling online.
There are no wilds, scatters or bonus feature and what you see is what you get when it comes to playing Reel Play Poker: Jacks or Better, but for some players simplicity is key. The graphics are simple and the design is basic, which is surprising considering the new releases lately from Microgaming. However, it does have good payout potential which is bound to attract many players, and I think they did a good job of combining video poker with a slot machine.
If you want to give this game a try, you can find it at any Microgaming online casino.
Retro Reels was released to Microgaming casinos on November 9th 2010. This new slot, featuring symbols from classic slot machines like bars and sevens, has 5 reels, 20 paylines, and a free spins feature. It, along with Reel Gems, includes a brand new respin feature. You can pay a certain amount to respin one reel at a time after the initial spin is complete. Even if you line up 5 of a kind, you can respin one of the reels to try for it again.
Free spins are triggered when two or more “5 Free Spins” symbols land on the reels during a spin. Each symbol awards 5 free spins, so if five land on the reels during a spin you are awarded 25 free spins. All wins during free spins are doubled and free spins can be retriggered.
The respin feature can be good on this slot sometimes, and it can be bad other times, same as with Reel Gems. I find it can be a little better on this slot because symbols that don’t exactly match, like different colored 7’s and different amounts of bars on the Bar symbols. You can even line up 5 of a kind more than once on the reels. Just don’t try to spin in one of the jackpot symbols for 5 of a kind unless you are feeling very lucky. It is very expensive to do so and it’s a rare symbol, so hitting it on your first or second respin isn’t very likely.
See the screenshots below for paytable information, and check back in the future to see if I’ve been lucky enough to add a nice winning screenshot.
