Lucky Nugget Casino Review

Powered by Microgaming software, Lucky Nugget Casino has been online since 1998 and is still going strong today. One of the most trusted casinos in the industry they are owned and operated by Tower Rock Limited, a respected management group.

Part of the Belle Rock Entertainment Group of casinos as well, players can feel safe when placing their online gaming wagers at Lucky Nugget online casino. The casino holds a license issued by the Malta Gaming Authority and the site proudly displays the eCOGRA seal of approval.

Multiple languages are supported in the casino and many currencies are available to play in as well. For my fellow Canadian players, both English and French are available and we can play with Canadian dollars.

Being a Microgaming powered casino, players can expect the best when it comes to game variety. The software is available in a download format or an instant play for Mac users. There are over 500 casino games to choose from, and the download client is home to the full game library.

The games on offer range between slot games and specialty games, with everything in between. The slot games make up for more than half of the games in the menu and there is something for every slot lover. The classic games offer traditional style slot action, while the video slots offer interactive bonus features and payout potential that can keep you playing all night long. The progressive slot machines offer a life changing jackpot, and it can be won in a single spin at Lucky Nugget.

The table games offer a classic take on the most popular casino games such as Blackjack, Roulette and Baccarat. However, there are modern twists on the classic games which offer players a little something different. No matter the table game you prefer, there is something for everyone and the game play is smooth and true to life as far as graphics go.

Promotions at Lucky Nugget start off with a deposit match of 150% up to $200, or a high roller bonus of 100% up to $1000. The casino is always willing to award their players with awesome bonuses and giveaways, and the welcome bonus is just the beginning. You don’t have to be a new player to appreciate the bonus offers either, there are ongoing promotions fitting to just about any players bonus needs.

The loyalty points system works just as you would find at its sister sites. All real money wagers will earn points and when enough are earned they can be exchanged for real money to play in the casino at any time. There is no limit on how many points can be earned, so start earning and watch them add up quickly.

The standard Microgaming cashier is in place and all transactions are encrypted to ensure safety when depositing at Lucky Nugget. The best and most popular methods for depositing are available including Instadebit, Neteller, eCheck, Click2Pay, ClickandBuy and Ukash; Credit Cards are also accepted. If you don’t see your preferred way to pay, you can contact support for help in finding an alternative payment method.

Players can also count on fast withdrawals. With so many years in the business, they know how to treat their players at Lucky Nugget and all cashout requests are processed in 24-48 hours, depending on the method chosen it can take longer. The casino may ask you to send in ID and authorization documents as usual before processing any payouts.

Customer service is important when playing online, and players can get in touch with the support team 24/7 through live chat, telephone or email. No matter the query, the support staff is there to help.

Monster Mayhem and Halloween Fortune

Monster Mayhem and Halloween Fortune are two new slots by RTG and Playtech, released just in time for Halloween 2011. Along with Lucky Witch by Microgaming, that’s three new Halloween themed slots to play this October.

Monster Mayhem is a new RTG slot that features two monsters, Smash and Crash, terrorizing a city. This slot has 50 paylines, wilds, scatters, and a re-spin feature with an increasing multiplier. Smash and Crash are the wild symbols, and they only appear on reels 1 and 5. When they appear on both reels 1 and 5 in the same spin, the re-spin feature is triggered. You can win up to 10 free re-spins with reels 1 and 5 being held where they are, including the wild symbols that triggered the feature. The first spin is multiplied by 1, the second is multiplied by 2, and so on up to the 10th re-spin being multiplied by 10.

Keep in mind, you don’t always get 10 re-spins with this feature. In the limited time I’ve played it, the most I’ve gotten so far is 5 re-spins when triggering the feature. Obviously getting 10 re-spins would have the potential for a very nice win.

Halloween Fortune is a new Playtech slot that features 15 paylines, a wild symbol, scatter symbol, and the Witches Brew Bonus which can award up to 20 free spins and up to a x10 multiplier for those spins. The Witches Brew feature is triggered when the Bonus symbol lands on reels 1 and 5 in the same spin. You are taken to a screen with three sexy witches, choose one of them to reveal your free spins. You are then taken to a screen with the chosen witch and 6 bottles of potions, choose one to reveal your free spin multiplier.

I have had a chance to play both of these slots a little bit, and so far I prefer Halloween Fortune, though I do prefer Playtech slots over RTG slots so that could be the reason. My favorite of all new Halloween releases this year is Lucky Witch by Microgaming, I’m hooked on that one, and have had a few nice wins.

Play Monster Mayhem at these RTG Casinos, and play Halloween Fortune at these Playtech Casinos.

New Microgaming Slots October 2011

Microgaming has released three new slots this month, though two appear to be ported over from another software so they aren’t technically new slots. They are however new to Microgaming Casinos and Canadian players. Irish Eyes and Ramesses Riches were previously found at WagerWorks casinos, which do not accept Canadians. Lucky Witch is a new slot and quite obviously created by Microgaming with many more features than the other two, and released just in time for Halloween.

Lucky Witch is a 15 payline slot with stacked wilds, free spins, and a mystery bonus. The stacked wilds double your wins, but only substitute for the four highest paying symbols. I don’t really like slots like that, it can be frustrating when wilds (especially stacked wilds) don’t substitute for all the symbols, but the fact that they double when substituting for the highest paying symbols can produce some big wins. When three or more scatters land on the reels, you are awarded 13 free spins with the Witch symbol as an extra wild that also doubles your wins.

The Mystery Bonus will take you to one of four different bonus rounds. The Magic Potion Bonus takes you to a screen with 12 potion bottles – pick them to reveal cash prizes; a Win All awards all prizes, and a skull and crossbones ends the bonus round. The Pumpkin Bonus takes you to a screen with 5 pumpkins, you get three choices and two chances to try again for a bigger prize. The Secret Vault Bonus takes you to a screen with 12 symbols, after you choose three symbols, the others will be revealed and you choose one of the original three to reveal your prize. The Spell Book Bonus takes you to a screen with 3 books, choose one to reveal a multiplier and win up to 52x your bet.

Ramesses Riches is a 20 payline slot with an Egyptian theme. It has a wild symbol that doubles your prize and substitutes for all the symbols, except the scatter. When three or more scatters land on the reels, you are awarded up to 20 free spins with all wins being tripled, and all wins with a wild are multiplied by 6. Free spins can be re-triggered.

Irish Eyes is a 25 payline slot with a wild symbol, free spins, and a bonus feature. When three or more scatters land left to right, you are awarded 12 free spins with all wins being tripled. When the wild Leprechaun symbol lands on reels 1 and 5, you can select one of them to reveal a prize with the possibility of picking again or getting a Win All.

I don’t really know why Microgaming decided to purchase those two slots from a different software provider, they are obviously capable of producing good slot machines that are unique. Ramesses Riches and Irish Eyes are quite plain in comparison to Lucky Witch.

Play these three new slots at any trusted Microgaming Casino.

Reel Play Poker: Jacks or Better

Reel Play Poker: Jacks or Better is an online slot machine released by Microgaming. This is one of the newer releases by the software. The game is pretty simple in comparison to other games offered by the developer, and the idea is basically a multi-hand video poker game in the form of a slot machine. The layout is 5-reels, three symbols/cards high, with 20-paylines.

The symbols are all cards from a regular deck. This includes the face cards and all suits. The objective of the game is to make the best hand possible on the payline; and the payouts are paid according to the classic poker paytable.

The jackpot in the game is of course the Royal Flush which pays out 8,000 coins. In order to win the jackpot you must get an A, K, Q, J and 10 of the same suit on an enabled payline. It’s really a simple game and if you love poker, this game may become one of your new favourite games to play when gambling online.

There are no wilds, scatters or bonus feature and what you see is what you get when it comes to playing Reel Play Poker: Jacks or Better, but for some players simplicity is key. The graphics are simple and the design is basic, which is surprising considering the new releases lately from Microgaming. However, it does have good payout potential which is bound to attract many players, and I think they did a good job of combining video poker with a slot machine.

If you want to give this game a try, you can find it at any Microgaming online casino.

Power Spins: Sonic 7’s

Power Spins: Sonic 7’s is a new game powered by Microgaming software. The game takes on a classic theme with a modern twist using symbols and icons from slot machine past.

The layout is simple with 5-reels and 9-paylines. The betting abilities of the game is a bit different from other games offered by the software; and you will find that for an extra 3x the line bet you will have the ability to activate the awesome power spins feature.

Activating the Power Spins Feature will add a x2 multiplier to all the wild symbols, which add together when on the same payline making it possible to get 8x your win.

The other symbols in the game are of course 7’s, Bells and Bars. The wild symbol is the most impressive symbol when it pays out and there are wins of 200,000 coins achievable with this symbol should five of them appear on an active payline. Scatters are profitable as well with wins between 180 and 27,000 coins possible. With a maximum bet of 60.00 credits a payout of $100,000 is possible. Although this bet is saved for the high rollers, any bet will prove to be profitable should the five wild combination be hit with the power spin feature activated.

Using the power spins can prove to be even more awesome as all multipliers are added when on the same payline. If two wilds are involved in a win, it will be multiplied x4, and so on up to x8. However, lining up 5 wilds will not multiply the win x10. This feature is potentially quite profitable for a small bet in comparison, so I would highly recommend using it when playing Sonic 7’s.

There are a few features available but the most impressive is the Power Spins by far. If you are looking for a new change in pace, try out this new game on your next visit to your favourite Microgaming powered casino.

A Week of Freeroll Slot Tournaments

Club World Casinos is hosting another week of the best freeroll slot tournaments I have played. If you’ve read my Club World Casino Review, you will know how much I like these tournaments. I was even able to win the top prize at one, and I normally never come close to winning the many freerolls that I play in, but most free tournaments only give you free entry to the tournament.

Most freeroll slot tournaments at online casinos give you the option to continue playing, but you have to pay to do so. That’s NOT a free tournament and they shouldn’t be allowed to call them freerolls. What I love about these tournaments at Club World, is the fact that you only get one shot, and so does everybody else.

All you have to do to play in these tournaments is sign up and make a deposit at Club World Casino, then keep an eye on the Tournaments page to register for each one before the limited spots fill up. The last tournament of the week is a VIP event for players that have made 3 or more deposits at the casino during their lifetime at Club World.

This week of freeroll slot tournaments at Club World Casino is now held every month around the same time.

Winnings are not added to your account as a bonus, it is cash that you can withdraw.

All times are in Eastern Daylight Time, and registration for each regular tournament opens 12 hours before the start time. Registration for the VIP tournament is already open, so you can register as soon as you have made 3 deposits. Spots are limited, so make sure you register for each one as soon as you can after they open.

Freeroll Slot Tournament Schedule

Date	Game	Prize	Start Time	Duration
August 29	Crystal Waters	$250	12pm (noon)	24 hours
August 30	Goldbeard	$250	12pm (noon)	24 hours
August 31	Enchanted Garden	$250	12pm (noon)	24 hours
Sept. 1	Texan Tycoon	$250	12pm (noon)	24 hours
Sept. 2	Loose Caboose	$500	12pm (noon)	24 hours
Sept. 3-4	Triple Twister	$1,500	12pm (noon)	48 hours

Don’t miss out on this rare opportunity to play in actual freeroll slot tournaments. It’s so refreshing to see an online casino that understands the concept of free, and I really enjoy playing in these slot tournaments.

Depending on where you are in the world, the casino may have a slightly different name. For residents in the US, you play at Club USA Casino. There are also Club Euro, Club UK, and Club SA Casino for European, UK, and South African residents. The rest of the world, including Canada, plays at Club World Casino.

Gold Factory

Gold Factory is a 5-reel 50-payline online slot machine powered by Microgaming that was just released in June 2011. It’s based on a Gold Factory that pumps out gold all day and the game is complete with graphics, animations, sounds and features to keep you entertained while hopefully winning a bunch of money. Microgaming is known in the industry for having cutting edge games, and this time is no different. I have had good luck with this slot.

The most attractive feature in Gold Factory is the multi-stage bonus feature that is activated when three, four or five Gold Bonus symbols appear in any position on the reels.

The feature starts out on level one and there are two levels above it that can be triggered if you are lucky enough to find the special icons. You are given four picks when the bonus starts, so that is four chances to win big and advance. The picks will either award entry to the next level or bonus cash prizes; depending on your luck.

The special icons can take you to the Reactor Bonus or the Free Spins feature. If you are lucky enough to trigger the Reactor Bonus, you will pick random symbols that reveal prize amounts, and you can continue to pick until the Reactor shuts down, thus taking you back to the main bonus feature where you will continue on with your four picks if you didn’t finish before.

If you find the free spin icon in the main feature, you will be taken to the Free Spins Bonus and you will spin to reveal the number of free games you will receive. The number of free games you can win during this feature is between 10 and 35, and the free games could bring huge wins of over 600,000 coins with maximum bet.

The normal game mode is also exciting and has jackpot potential of 100,000 coins. If you would like to play Gold Factory, try your luck at any of these Microgaming casinos.

Mr. Cashback

Mr. Cashback is a brand new slot game powered by Playtech software. Available at just about any Playtech online casino, Mr. Cashback has a unique feature that pays you for losing. If a single line does not pay anything for 50 spins, you win back your line bet x50. While playing the slot, you will see each line number has a meter that increases every time you spin and the line does not win. Changing your line bet will reset those meters, but they are saved for when you go back.

The layout is simple with 5-reels and 15-paylines. This is unusual for a new release, but it works well with this game. You can bet between $0.01 and $5 per line and the payout potential for any bet size is perfect for any budget. The ultimate win in the game with a single spin is worth 7,500 coins for five Mr. Cash Back symbols on an enabled payline.

The theme of Mr. Cashback revolves around money and the symbols are all thematic and are in the form of Bankers, Bags of Money, Stacks of Cash, Piggy Banks and more. The wild symbol is the Mr. Cash Back icon, which substitutes for all other icons in the game besides the scattered logo. The wild will bring the highest payout in the game, so the more that appear on the screen, the better.

The scatter is the Mr. Cashback logo and it appears on all reels. If three or more scatters appear in any position in a single spin, you will earn 12 free games with a x2 multiplier. During the free games, Freezing Wilds (wilds that stay in place while the reels around them spin) appear on the reels and will hold its position for between 1 and 4 spins. The free games cannot be retriggered, and there isn’t a classic second bonus feature in the game.

Without a traditional second feature and fewer paylines than most new games being released, I would still recommend this game to fellow slot lovers. If you want to give it a spin, try it at SIA Casino.
