The Free Spins Feature is triggered when three or more scattered Pirate Ship symbols land on the reels from left to right during a spin. You are awarded 10 free spins with all wins being doubled. Free spins can be re-triggered and the bonus feature can also be triggered during free spins.

The Bonus Feature is triggered when wild Treasure Chest symbols land on the first and last reels during the same spin. You are given a choice between two bonus features, Island Defender or Pillaging Pirate. In each game, you are given 10 cannonballs to fire at the passing ships, while either defending your island or attacking and pillaging. You are awarded prizes for each hit worth up to 25 times your triggering bet.

Even with two bonus features and a free spins feature, they don’t seem to trigger very often at all. I still enjoy playing this slot though because it doesn’t seem to need the bonus features to give you a good win.
