Easter Surprise

Easter Surprise is a new online slot from Playtech, released just in time for Easter 2011. This slot features 20 paylines, wild symbols, and two bonus features.

The Free Spins Feature is triggered when three or more scattered Easter Surprise symbols land on the reels during a spin. You are awarded 10 free spins with a x3 multiplier. Free spins can be re-triggered with three more scatters.

The Easter Eggs Bonus is triggered when three or more bonus symbols line up on an active payline from left to right. You are taken to a second screen with a cute bunny presenting you with a choice of 6 different eggs, each with a cash prize inside. You get to choose one egg for every bonus symbol that lined up to trigger the feature.

Easter Surprise is basically a clone of the Santa Surprise slot, with different symbols and bonus theme. Having such similar names, and with the timing of their releases, that shouldn’t come as a big surprise. That’s not a bad thing though, they are both decent slots with bonus features that usually pay quite well. I also find that the wild symbols show up fairly often on both of these slots, which is definitely a nice thing to see when playing a slot.
